كيف لي عن نور الشمس من مفر ؟ وهي التي خُلقت لكل البشر
حجبت نورها عني سنين .. فوهن الجسم وشاب القلب من الحنين
ظننت أن الحب ريحاناً وياسمين.. لكنه يدمي القلب كقطع حد السكين
فما للقلب مداوٍ بعد رب العالمين
إلا من حجبت عنها القلب سنيناً وسنين
شمس الوطن.. شمس الأهل والأحباب..شمس المدرسة والأصحاب
شمس ذكرياتٍ وقصورٍ على الشاطئ قد بُنيت من تراب
إني عائدة إليك يا شمس
فبالله عليك أنسيني جراح الأمس
